The Eye Testing Procedure
The BVA Eye Test is a non-invasive, quick, and straightforward procedure. It involves:
- Initial Consultation: A brief consultation with Lorna Newman MRCVS to discuss your dog’s history, age, and any concerns you may have.
- Thorough Eye Examination: The veterinary surgeon will then conduct a detailed eye examination, using specialised equipment to assess the dog’s eye health and detect any hereditary conditions.
- Results and Advice: After the test, we will provide you with a comprehensive report detailing the results of the examination, which is uploaded to The Kennel Club records. If any conditions are found, our the vet will discuss the appropriate next steps for treatment or management.
